No Dp Cable Dell Monitor U2415

I tried an old dell monitor and it worked fine.

No dp cable dell monitor u2415.

However when i attempt to connect the monitor i get no dp cable. I have tried swapping out the hdmi cable for another i have tried connecting the dp to usb 3 cable i ve tried installing the drivers etc. If you use the hdmi port for 1920x1080 then the image will not scale correctly it will be stretched vertically and there is no way to correct this using the monitor or windows settings. Other monitors can do 1920x1200 through the hdmi port but not this one.

Got brand new dell u2415 monitor to go with it. Two cables were supplied with the new monitor. Dp 1 1 monitor can only be connected as the last monitor in the mst chain. The monitor displays no dp cable so it does not recognize the active adapter cable.
